Pering Beach is a pristine grayish black sandy beach with stunning panoramas of green rice fields, crashing waves and blue water in its vicinity. This hidden gem is endowed with a beautiful sunrise over the sparkling sand with lush vegetation and Bali’s mountain in the distance.

This coast is situated in Pering Village, Blahbatuh District, Gianyar Regency, Bali. It's just an hour away from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Drive east to the Jl. Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Mantra in Blahbatuh Gianyar. The beach is located on the southern side and less than 500 meters from the main road.
There are two routes to access this beach, first from the Jl. Pantai Pering through the Pura Segara Wilis in Saba-Pering, while the other through the Jl. Sese in Keramas. Both routes are easily accessible by car, and parking is available on the beach.
This beach becomes a track for Horseback Riding activity and ATV (All Terrain Vehicle). There is a horse stable located at Saba Village, while the ATV is managed by Keramas Village.
This is a vast expanse of fine sand, stretches from Saba Beach and Segara Wilis Beach in the west up to the Sese Beach and Keramas Beach on eastern side. There is a small shrine and also streams that empties into the shore.
The beach features an unspoiled feel and natural, with vast rice fields, coconut palms, and arc of exotic sand. Some traditional wooden boats line up neatly in the sand with beautiful colors and harmonize with the surroundings.
This is a nice spot for hanging out or fun picnic. The beach is usually crowded by locals, and is still less visited by tourists. You can walk along the fine-smooth sand while enjoying the panoramic sunrise, waves, blue water, Bali's mountains, and view to Nusa Penida. You can take shelter under the tree canopy while enjoying the cool sea breeze.
The waves here are big and powerful, not recommended for soaking or swimming. Some surfers often surf here, just a little walk from Keramas with a quieter spot. In addition, some anglers are spotted on the beach, cast the bait, and wait enthusiastically. This is an exciting surf fishing spot and worth a try.
