Siyut Beach is a beautiful black sandy beach, nestled amid the peaceful environment and undeveloped area. Visitors can enjoy the view of rice paddies that directly lead to the beach, blue sea, and the islands of Nusa Penida.
This beach is situated in Banjar Siyut, Tulikup Village, Gianyar Regency, Bali. This spot is easily accessible by car, about 37 km (more than an hour) through Jl. Dr. Prof. Ida Bagus Mantra. Then take Jl. Raya Siyut Beach, just 500 meters from the main road and you have found it.
This place is suitable to enjoy the sunrise in a pristine environment. At certain times, Balinese usually hold the melasti ceremony and the cremation ritual here. There are small shrines (pelinggih) in the east, near the river, for the purpose of praying.
There are many traditional fishing boats lining on the beach, really colorful and in harmony with the surroundings. Also, few fishermen are fishing by the beach. Visitors come here to enjoy the natural beach and away from the crowded and hectic activities. This seaside has big and strong waves, not recommended for soaking or swimming.
This beach has minimal shade and over-heating during the day. It is recommended to visit in the morning or afternoon. If you want to spend long time here then it is better to bring water and supplies yourself, because the local houses are far away and the presence of food sellers is uncertain.
