Masceti Beach is located in the Medahan Village, the District of Blahbatuh, Gianyar Regency. The beach offers alluring and exotic black sand beaches. This condition is supported by the natural view of the beach, waves, palm trees and the Bali Mountains.
The beach is only an hour from Ngurah Rai International Airport. It also easily accessible by car from the Jl. Prof. Dr. ida Bagus Mantra. There is parking lot around the temple, as well as food-stalls (warungs) run by locals.
At this location there is one important Hindu temple, Pura Masceti. This temple is located at the northern edge and directly facing the beach. There is also a sizeable building outside the temple called wantilan hall.
Masceti temple is dedicated to the worship of Lord Vishnu. This temple is so attached to the spiritual nuances. Masceti Temple is believed to be the guard of Bali Island from evil sea spirits.
This is a lush beach area and offers a rustic atmosphere surrounded by green rice fields and beautiful surroundings. The waves here are strong, not recommended for soaking and swimming. The beach is less shade and it would be better if you visit during the morning or afternoon.
